Maxime Brulein is one of Belgium’s esteemed up-and-coming filmmakers. His work includes “Gone,” a short film sharing very personal insight into the insidious nature of Alzheimer’s Disease; “Trouble on a Plane,” a homage to director Alfred Hitchcock; and “The Painting,” which is currently receiving rave reviews at film festivals in the United States and Europe.
