Join Dr. Carlos as he chats with Ginger Pauley. With dozens of appearances on screens both big and small, Ginger Pauley is the “it girl” for any kind of role, from vintage noir to modern comedy, and everything in between. The camera just loves her classic “American sweetheart” look.
Ginger is the founder and bandleader of the jazz band Ginger & the Hoosier Daddys, which brings the music of the 1920s to 40s to life. She also performs as a guest vocalist and as a solo act as well as charming audiences with her spot-on Helen Kane “boop-oop-a-doop” numbers, complete with feather boa and fluttering eyelashes.
Ginger was a featured dancer in the 2014 Tournament of Roses Parade, dancing the Charleston in the parade’s opening ceremony and throughout the parade route. She is experienced with a number of dance styles, including swing, waltz, ballroom, and Charleston, and has performed with the Hollywood Hotshots.
